Hallo,
beim 4 Ventiler drehten die Nockenwellen gegenläufig (warum auch immer), deshalb wurde jede Nockenwelle einzeln angetrieben und die Kette in einem grossen Bogen aussen herumgeführt.
Auf den Bildern sind allerdings die Konstruktion der 4 Ventile nicht ersichtlich.

Und in der Schweiz bei Daniel Kunz gibt es auch noch ein Exemplar der 3 Rallye- SM, allerdings nur Rohkarosse, die aber echt original, teils noch mit Aufklebern drauf. Vielleicht will den wer aufbauen? Man braucht nur noch ein Schlachtauto dazu.

Die Köpfe sehen meines Wissens komplett anders aus, weil die Ketten ganz anders (höher und in einem weiten Bogen) geführt werden. So habe ich's mal auf Bildern bei DM gesehen und er hat mir das plausibel erläutert.

.. ich meine auch, das der echte auf den Bildern auch andere Ventildeckel hat, siehe De Serres.....

War der rotgelbe SM Proto der echte oder das vergurkte teil aus Hannover? Letzteres hat sicher keinen 4V. Und wenns der originale war- vielleicht hat der nicht mehr den 4V drin.

..ich bin bis heute nicht davon überzeugt, das das

a) 340 PS hat, das wäre für damalige Zeit doch sehr sehr viel (sind es evtl. SAE ?), und

b) OHNE aussen sichtbare Veränderung 4Ventile pro Zylinder, hm. Ich hab ja meine Köpfe auch selber überholt, und dann dabei auch geguckt, was da wie gehen könnte, und ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, wie das da rein gehen soll. Wenn man NEUE Köpfe giesst, ok, dann kann man da sicher was schaffen. Aber dann wette ich, das die aussen auch anders aussehen würden als die, die wir alle kennen. Von daher bin ich da auch unsicher...

Hat da jemand intimere Bilder, Zeichnungen....

am Tisch -vlnr- Andrew Browdie, er hatte den SM, mit dem Ehepaar Linwood die Tour Auto in Frankreich (siehe Oldtimer Markt 6/07)gewann vorbereitet,
Ehepaar Linwood, Genevieve et Pierre Fraleux, Paul Artaud, Volker Hammes,
Anu und Georg Johannes....

(die Köpfe wurden jedoch für den "Ruhestand" im-Museum-Ausstellungen zurückgerüstet-bzw.getauscht)
